Below is a list of concerns I often hear from clients and some suggestions to avoid these mistakes.

#1 Inconsistent Postings/Updates Consistency helps you build relationships and establish your brand. Regularity helps create loyalty with your followers.

#2 Dated/Irrelevant Posts

Ask yourself, Is this information current for what's going on right now? Does it add value, and is it what my followers are seeking from me? Try taking a couple of days a week and plan for your social media.

#3 Limited Posting Style

Not expanding your use of the various formats on social media can hinder your targeted reach. Try doing reels, stories, and carousels. You can repurpose one video across many social media platforms.

#4 Failure to Plan Keep a simple checklist of topics that will give value to your followers. You can create what I like to call funnels topics; each funnel fills a different subject bucket. For example, for Realtors, your funnels could be purchasing, buying, relocating, and other services you provide.

I create sub-categories such as how to sell your home and add how a professional Realtor can help homebuyers.

Listing out subjects in your niche will help you save time and always stay on topic.

#5 Be Authentic

Be your true authentic self! Your followers want to hear, learn, buy, engage, and they want and deserve authenticity from you.
